  1. Day… March 03, 2010

I ate at Jammin’ Bread with PLuu And JHo today for lunch. Expensive sandwiches, but oh-so delicious. I ordered the turkey BLT on french bread, and the turkey is a must! Freshly carved oven roasted turkey breast that is surprisingly tender. Yummm!

  2. Day …. February 24, 2010

Avocado and condensed milk is pretty good! Then again, anything with condensed milk is yummy.

  3. Day 25 — January 25, 2010

Thank goodness for classless Mondays and Fridays! Alex and I drove to San Diego where his cousin goes to school. We spent half the day browsing fish stores; I bought a nice rock and a branchy driftwood for the 60 gallon tank.

How do you think we spent the other half of the day? Eating, of course! We stopped by the shopping area near the beach Peter last took us to (with the seals and pretty cliffs), and bought some delicious gelato at Gelateria and organic banana cupcake from Cups. This cupcake was so delicious, compared to Casey’s. I would totally want to go back to Cups for more cupcakes the next time I’m in town.

  4. Day 24 — January 24, 2010

Alex and I had brunch with DLe. We went to the local cupcake shop, which is owned by Casey from The Hills (whoever she is). Casey did a good job on decor and packaging (I have a penchant for pink and black theme), but the cupcake tasted too dry and artificial. I won’t be going back there.

  5. Day 23 — January 23, 2010

Alex and I met up with Dinah and her boyfriend. I finally got to meet him! We had lunch at Coconut Bay, then went to Ikea for a stroll. We were fooling around (as many people do in Ikea) by reenacting 500 Days of Summer. Alex met Mr. Hippo from the aisle of random stuffed animals in Ikea. I also got to sample some Princess Cake, which intrigued me because it was lime green, looking like a semi-tennis ball from afar.

  6. Day 22 — January 22, 2010

Alex and I drove to UCLA for M’s farewell party, which was hosted by Sh and D. Yay for sleepovers and board games! And note to self: M takes forever on her turn, so have something ready to pass the time while you wait. Just kidding, I love you M! I’m going to miss youuu :(

  7. Day 21 — January 21, 2010

The Usual came over to hang out. We played Apples to Apples, and this round was one of the more hilarious ones. The green apple card says “Quick and Dirty,” by the way.

  8. Day 20 — January 20, 2010

Alex came bearing gifts — eight of them actually! He brought me eight grade S+ crystal red shrimps! They’re so adorable! What did I do with my red cherry shrimp? I’m going to put them in the 60 gallon tank at home.

  9. Day 19 — January 19, 2010

Lunch with Alex at Hot Chick’s near school. I ordered the mayonnaise shrimp thing. It was mediocre, but a good price! They also had delicious boba, which is hard to find in Riverside. I think I’ll be a regular at this restaurant.

  10. Day 18 — January 18, 2010

Alex arrived tonight. We went on a routine Jacque in Le Box (Jack in the Box) run, and got the usual Bacon Cheddar Potato wedges. Om nom nom, cheesy unhealthy goodness!
